The facilitator manual describes in detail how to conduct each session of the Study Without Stress program including exercises and comments to assist successful implementation. The therapist manual should be used in conjunction with the student workbook.
Updated version (2nd edition) 2017. Based on feedback, the SWOS program has been updated to incorporate relaxation skills to assist students to further reduce stress levels. The facilitator manual now includes two alternate presentation formats (8 sessions of 1 hour, or 6 sessions of 1.5 hours) so that facilitators can choose a format that best suits their needs. The student workbook has been reformatted to make it easier to use. The same core skills remain in this evidence-based program, however, the new manuals make the program easier to follow and complete.
It is recommended that facilitators who have used the SWOS program prior to May 2017 update their therapist manual and student workbooks to this new version.
